Burnley Road and Camborne Place had sections missed for trash removal Thursday. City said this is because of short staff and new crews on routes. They intend to remove those two streets trash today Friday 2/11/22.
Also be sure to follow recycling cart rules. Cardboard needs to be broken down. There was a few cans left by crews and cart tagged for not being properly prepared this week. I understand this is going to be happening more in the future.
Be sure you are not bagging any of the recyclables. This results in it being considered trash as the MERF is not allowed to open trash bags. No plastic trash bags of any kind empty or with recyclable is allowed in your recycling green cart.
Remember all boxes must be broken down and not placed on ground next to cart or stuck on top of cart with the lid propped open.
Drivers do not get out of the trucks to remove.
