Joesph a long time resident of Madison Park and someone that helps me keep Tyvola clean, which is one of two of our Neighborhood Adopt A Streets had hip replacement surgery last monday.   He was at home the next day, and I spoke to his wife.  She said he was in a pain, but doing ok.  Joesph sent a message out to me and few others later on Tuesday afternoon.  He sounded good and was starting his journey of recovery.

I reached back out on Friday to get an update, and did not hear back.

I contacted his wife Jennifer (former Madison Park HOA Director) on Monday for a one week check in.

She reported the news that things took a turn for the worse.   Joesph fell on Wednesday am in his home and had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.   He had surgery to repair a broken femur at/near the hip joint replacement.

Joseph is such a nice guy.   Both Jennifer and Joesph.   Keep him in your prayers and thoughts for a quick speedy recovery.

If you have any time grab a trash bag and help keep Tyvola clean.   Even if you just do a small section it will be appreciated.    It is always trashy from Farmbrook to Park Road.  People seem more comfortable tossing trash out in that wooded stretch.

Although lately I have even seen more trash on all our residential streets. I know Londonderry was littered with beer bottles last week in multiple locations.   I have never seen so much stuff tossed out in more than 25 years I have lived in Madison Park.   Joesph normally would clean on Tyvola every two weeks.  One week he would head on Tyvola toward South Blvd.,  and the next toward Queens Sports complex entrance picking up litter.     All of Tyvola from Old Pineville Road to Park Road is our Adopt A Street.   All of Seneca Place from South Blvd. to Park Road is our Adopt A Street.   Anytime you can help pick up trash it is appreciated on either street, or really any street in Madison Park or Montclaire.
