Upcoming neighborhood events

Please sign up if you are interested in registering your child for our third season of Montclaire Neighborhood Soccer! The deadline to register is Friday, April 15. If the registration is full, please join the waiting list.

Spring soccer clinic for kids ages 4.5–8 years old
  • When: Fridays, 5–6:15 p.m. for 6 sessions — 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, (skip 5/27) and 6/3, with 6/10 reserved as a make-up rain date if needed
  • Location: St. Giles Lawn
  • Cost: $30 check to MNA or Venmo. This money covers the cost of a T-shirt and soccer equipment, and any extra will go in the Montclaire Neighborhood Association budget for future events.
  • Clinic Information:
    • The first half will be skills practice. The second half will be an informal scrimmage.
    • Minimum of 10 kids with a maximum of 20 kids.
    • Wear shin guards and bring a #3 size ball. Cleats recommended but not required. Bring a water bottle.
    • Bathrooms will be available for use. Please escort your child.
    • Parent/guardian must remain on-site in case of any emergency. MNA is not responsible for any accident or injury.

Rising Kindergarten students and their families are invited to join Montclaire Elementary's virtual Zoom meeting Thursday, April 28, 5:30–6:30 p.m. Learn what to expect in Kindergarten, meet the K Team, and ask any questions you may have.

Save the date for St. Giles' second-annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, April 30, 3:30–5:30 p.m. (Rain date: Saturday, May 14). The event will include construction vehicles, off-road Jeeps, first responders, food, hands-on activities and plenty more! 
 

Montclaire ladies of all ages (12+) are invited to learn more about the art of flower arranging from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 under the portico at St. Giles. Rain or shine! Please bring clippings from your yard or purchase flowers to share and bring a few vases to fill. Feel free to bring a snack or sweet to share if you'd like to! Please sign up by Wednesday, April 27.
