Do some good in your community through Keep Charlotte Beautiful's Adopt-a-City Street Program

Ready to beautify your community this fall? Consider adopting a city street! Neighborhoods, businesses, families, and individuals can make make a difference in their community by adopting a City street through this grassroots litter removal program. Keep Charlotte Beautiful requires all adoptees to clean up a minimum of one mile of road at least three times every fiscal year (from July of one year to June of the next year). The program also lends out litter grabbers, gloves, vests, and trash bags when you need them and can help you arrange for the city to pick up your bags of trash after your cleanup. In recognition of your work, the city will install two free, relatively customizable "adoption" street signs in places of your choice along the route.
