A dead Goose was laying about two feet off Londonderry in the 5300 block in a front yard this past Sunday am. I went down this am and offered to bury the large bird for the lady that lives in the house. She said Thanks and said she saw the dead animal, but did not know what it was returning home after church Sunday. There was also a dead squirrel across from my drive. So it was Funeral Day on Londonderry. That bird was probably at least 25 pounds if not more. I saw no visible injuries, but a small round chest wound. It apparently had been shot! In air? On the ground? Not sure!
