If hiring a contractor to vacuum your lot remember to not place leaves in street.  Placing leaves in street is ILLEGAL!   Place them in the right of way of your front lawn,  and then allow the contractor to vaccum from that point.

If anyone thinks they are too good to follow bagging in paper or personal containers for their leaves, and are dumping in the road call 311 to report them!

Again dumping leaves in the road is illegal. There are enough leaves that naturally fall into the road that can't be helped.    The leaves are a hazard to pedestrians, vehicles driving and stopping, and they clog storm drains!

Remember placing leaves in or on a tarp curb side is not allowed in Charlotte!  The crews have been instructed to NOT PICK THEM UP!   This has always been the rule in Charlotte!
