We are getting a new inspector for codes in Madison Park and Montclaire. His area is much smaller than our prior inspectors so he will probably be spending more time in area.
He begins on Monday!
Our current inspector is moving to another nearby area to continue his work.

Call 311 for problems that code enforcement needs to look into. Zoning issues go to the zoning dept. at 311. You can put suspected violations in by calling 311 or doing them online 24/7 anytime at Charlotte.nc.gov. There is also an app you can use for 311 entries.
Code enforcement looks for issues with appearance.
Cans out early or late, parking on lawn, trash on property, yard waste out prior to the day before pickup. Bulk out early. All the things that deal with the appearance of the community.
If you visit 311 you can see the various options.
Follow the rules and you should have no issues. Otherwise you can be fined from $150 to $500 depending on how many violations you rack up.
