Yesterday, I had to mail a check and stopped by Park Road Shopping Center around 12:30 with my letter. The first blue box the letter would not go in. I thought what the heck. It was filled to the top. The next blue box the same thing. Then the third blue box it went in, but I could literally feel all the mail and it was sliding back out. I thought someone could easily take the mail on the top! So I pulled mine back out and went inside. First box inside the door large handwritten note don't put outgoing mail in this box use one near self service? I found the correct one and left.
I have informed delivery. So I know what is coming for the most part each morning. At 6:30 the post truck was next door in the dark. I could see him with flashlight pulling packages. Last week the carrier came to my house with a headlamp on his cap after 7 PM. I had a package that day. He said I will be back in a bit with your mail. So he goes down block parks and sure enough goes door to door in the dark. I said this is crazy you having to do this in the dark. He said he had a 14 mile walking route that day! Yesterday I had five letters arriving. I figured he would do the same as the carrier last week. Mail never came to my door? So I assumed it would be brought today! WRONG! Only the single piece of mail on the informed delivery for today is in my box!
Will my mail arrive ever?? Where did it go??
Postal office needs some more help!
