I had my mail on hold for two weeks and during those two weeks two packages were delivered to the front porch at my home. Then to top that off they also delivered at least a week of mail. Hopefully the rest of the mail will come today, but not holding my breath.
If you use hold mail you might want a back up plan. You will probably need it. This was the first time I had this issue in all the years of holding mail.
Not only did I fill the hold card out I hand carried the card to the Minuet Station to be sure they had it. I had two purposes for doing that. The other was early December, 5 letters scanned on my informed delivery never were delivered to my house, and as of today they still have not arrived. I was informed the scanning is done at another location and to give it more days.
If you don't use informed delivery you might should try it. At least you know what you are missing. It is free and you can sign up at post office web site. Each day you get an email with the scanned mail that should arrive that day and any packages.
