Reason why is the MRF does not open or accept the materials in bags. They must be placed loosely in the green cart. Otherwise you contaminate your green cart and it ends up going to the Speedway landfill at a cost of around 2 Million every year.
Never Bag Anything in the Green Carts!
The system does not allow for the bags to be opened and dumped. Even bags of materials like all tin cans cannot be bagged!
