We have a lot of volunteer activities planned in the next couple of weeks! In addition to our hosted volunteer events, you can find us and other partner organizations at outreach events all around our community.

 

 

 

 

World Cleanup Day
 

You can celebrate World Cleanup Day at Frazier Park/Irwin Creek Greenway this Saturday, 9/16, 9am-11am! Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, Storm Water Services, and Keep Charlotte Beautiful will be hosting a park, street, and stream clean up as part of a global initiative to make our world a little cleaner. All ages are welcome!

VolunThursday!

 

VolunThursday is a great opportunity make a positive impact during your lunch break! Bring your coworkers and join us Thursday, 9/26, 11am-12pm at 11800 Eastfield Road, Charlotte for Storm Drain Marking!

 

 

 

 

Riversweep

 

Each year hundreds of volunteers gather by boat, kayak, and foot to help clean up the Catawba River during The Catawba Riversweep. This year’s event will take place on 10/7, 9am-12pm. We will be hosting the Latta Nature Preserve location and there are several stream locations throughout Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Visit https://catawbariversweep.org/ to find a site near you!
