Code was out before daybreak addressing trash and recycling cans not removed by midnight on pickup day.    Some of those locations are pretty much every single week.

It is illegal to leave your can out past 11:59 PM on pickup day, or put the can(s) or any other curb side out prior to the day before scheduled pickup.   That scheduled pickup also applys to bulk pickup.  Pay attention to the dates provided you when calling 311 for bulk, or if you schedule bulk online.  The system tells you exactly when to place bulk out.

Not following curb side rules can cost you fines from $150 to $500 per violation depending on how many times you have been corrected for same violation.

If for some reason cans are not picked up due to equipment or driver issues codes is alerted to those areas so they know the reason.    It is also easy for them to tell if the cans were emptied and just left out.

If your can needs a lid repair or some other repair you can call 311 and alert them.  They will have you leave your can curb side until the repair or replacement is made.   It is helpful to leave a note on front of can out for repair so codes knows this when they are in the area.
