Madison Park

It is currently a self center.  You can bring only the same items that go into your green cart curbside.  However, if you have lots of cardboard / paper after Christmas it is a great place to dispose of the larger cardboard.   

No trash in the boxes.  That means not foam, plastic etc.    

Only what you would put curb side in your residential can.    The cans are roll offs at the Park.    

You cannot place cardboard or bags of trash outside your roll cart to have it picked up.

City Solid Waste only picks up what is in the cans.   The drivers do not get out of their trucks.   

If you have Bulk items you can call 311, use the 311 app, or 311 online and schedule if the item is in the list of items city picks up.    Then pay attention to the date provided and ONLY put the item(s) curb side the day prior to the scheduled pickup!

Remember if you don't want to cut cardboard  up to fit in green can run it over to Park Road Park.  Clean empty boxes.  No plastic.  The slots for cardboard are much wider than the green cans.  

Anything you can recycle curb side can go to the self service center.   Nothing else goes in the green cans but these SIX ITEMS!

1  plastic bottle and jugs with necks!  (NO OTHER PLASTIC, NO BAGS)

2 cardboard and small boxes!   Pizza boxes fine if clean ONLY

3 empty metal cans

4 milk and juice cartons

5 paper and magazines (NO SHREDDED PAPER CURB SIDE)

6 glass bottles and jars.   If you go to a full service center dump the glass in the yellow glass bins.    We pay less to process it. Glass cost the county aka us money to process.  We make nothing on the glass.   

Clean and dry items only!
