This month we would like to highlight all the volunteers that came out over the past January 2nd Saturday and VolunThursday events while braving the cold and rainy weather. All 64 volunteers made a huge impact on our trees planted in the floodplain and streams this past month. Thank you so much to everyone who made it out to volunteer!

Spring is one of the busiest times for Adopt-A-Stream. Be sure to get your clean-up dates in early to reserve supplies for your team!
The Adopt-A-Stream program is a great opportunity to get your community involved in improving the health of streams and keeping an eye out for potential surface water pollution. While there are many volunteers working hard and collect tons of trash from streams each year, there are many stream segments still available for adoption all around the county. Many segments along Ramah, Clarke, Long, Clear, and Coffey Creek are available and in need of some TLC. If you would like to see what other segments are available near you, check out our Adopt-A-Stream Map and visit us at our Volunteer page to find out how to get involved.
