Services Available to Help Alleviate Trash Problems

With many MIG members plagued by large trash items dumped in the alleys behind their businesses, and with the city?’s response to a request for a transfer body taking more than a year, the MIG board has moved to take the trash problems into its own hands.
A large dumpster has been placed at Goodwill Industries which is open to MIG members. If the trash is too difficult to move, a call to Vanco Properties (437-4000) will get a crew out to pick up the trash for you. The MIG Board also urges members and others to call the Long Beach Police Department (911) if they spot someone dumping illegally.
