Maps for MIG

Jerry Olvera, the City of Long Beach Planning Department community planner for the MIG district (he replaces Jill Griffith who is moving to a different area of the planning department), is working on a new map for the Magnolia Industrial Group. The large-scale map will show not only the boundaries of the MIG district, but also designate the streets and "footprints" of the larger buildings. Olvera will provide two maps for MIG ?– one for display and a portable one for presentations throughout the city.
The maps should be a benefit at MIG meetings and presentations, as the board often references maps of the area to highlight problems and improvements.
