Federal Money that Could Improve Our Neighborhood

Citizens are invited to provide input on the local distribution of approximately $26 million of Consolidated HUD Plan/Budget funds that are designed to address community development priorities in San Antonio.

The City's Housing and Community Development Department will host 21 neighborhood participation meetings that invite citizens to discuss how local Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, HOME Investment Partnership funds, American Dream Down-payment Initiative (ADDI) funds, Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds, and Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA) funds should be distributed through various City departments and non-governmental agencies.

All meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the following dates and locations:

Monday, January 10, 2005
Lamar Elementary Library, 201 Parland

Monday, January 31
Lion's Field, 2809 Broadway
