On May 15, 2005, Our Lady of Sorrows Church holds its annual festival. It is a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Sorrows. OLS is located at the intersection of St. Mary's and Woodlawn and they extend an open invitation to their closest neighbors, Mahncke Park. OLS' Festival is one of the few festivals in this part of San Antonio.
The festival, which begins at 10:00 a.m., will have great food booths, children's games and day-long FREE family entertainment, including:

The Showstoppers from Josephine Theater
Little Egypt children's Belly Dancers
A Jump Rope Group
Image Dance Group
South Texas Polish and International Dancers
Evening entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m. Admission is just $1.00. Headliners include:

Joe Posada band
Patsy Torres
Food booth features include:
Joey's famous beer-basted fajita Tacos (family recipe from the owners of Blue Star Brewery)
Homemade gorditas, chalupas, hamburgers
