While the meeting was generally a quiet one, focused more on the end of the year and upcoming holidays, there was a lively discussion about the HPD inspections and recertification issues. As reported in the November Tenant News an MPTA representative met with a HUD staff member to discuss recertification inconsistencies. At that meeting the HUD representative stated that the guidelines and rules were not being followed. In pursuit of uniform regulations (one set of rules for everybody) MP recertification inconsistencies and other issues are now being looked at in Washington
