county

Steve,

We have a plan already in progree.  Give us a few weeks, government work slowly.  If by September the pond isn't better, then I will lobby for only the representatives that will help us.  Bill Bell never helps.

So the residents are going to have to put up with  the pond and the high grass in the ditch until September? That's just to much to ask.

Your comment about Bill Bell is way out of line. A group of phase one residents and a few from caravel woods wrote to Bill back in july of 2010 and within 3 days the workers from the county were here and repaired the fence cut the grass in the ditch and treated the pond the president at that time never took an interest in phase one. If you are caught up in simply calling the county and not the politicians. Nothing will happen or it will take months. At least you are interested. But Sept. is just to long to wait.

I think due to redistricting Bell Bell may not be our councilman.  but he has helped in the past.

Let me clarify.  When the board contacts Mr. Bell he is very slow in responding.  If you have had time to go by the pond you will see that the cleaning process has already begun.  We found another councilman to help us.  Since the census we have been redistricted and Bill Powers is our new councilman.  He came to our last board meeting and promised his help.  As you can see it has begun.

If you have any more questions regarding the ponds contact Sylvia Simpson.  She is our board member that takes care of our 5 ponds and has been instrumental in getting the Viscaya pond worked on.

Your 2012 board promises to keep our neighborhood in prinstine condition, within our financial constraints.
