Fence question

Posted in: Mansion Farm

I know that a survey went out for changing the deed restrictions to inclue vinyl fencing, what is the status of that?  Also, in reading the deed restrictions, it spells out that the longest the fence can be is 20' from the rear wall of the home.  That is too short and I have noticed at least one home with a longer than 20' run, which is something I would be interested in.  Could someone please advise what material I can use and if it's possible to have a longer than 20' length of fence extending from the rear of the house?

Hi Neighbor,

So far the vinyl has NOT been approved.  Please submit all fence plans to Jean Amundsen at   jafancy97@icloud.com or you can mail plans to PO Box 4231, Bear, DE 19701.  We are not aware of any fences that are longer than the required length and certainly have not approved any beyond the length in the Deed Restrictions.  If there are please let Jean know, so we can look into the issue.

Thanks!

Hi Neighbor, The Deed Restrictions pertaining to Phase III (Townhomes) Article 1, section 1 Fences specify that the fences must be no more than 20' form the rear-most wall of the principal building. If a fence has been erected of more than 20' it is in violation. Thanks, Jean AF Amundsen Deed Restrictions MFMC Board of Directors
