In order to get anything passed, including a change to the voting structure, we would need 2/3 of the entire community.  In addition, if we did change the voting structure on deed restrictions and dues, then VA loans and FHA loans would not be available for purchasers in our neighborhood.  I am sure none of us want to do that, as it decreases the amount of possible purchasers when you sell.

 

Fortunately, after a lot of work from Desi at RC Peoples and the Board, we did get Solar Panels passed.  It was a long drawn out affair, but that is the system we have to work with.
