Hello,

The ponds behind Monticello and Tara are now completely covered in algae.

I believe you refer to them as ponds #2 & 3.

In years past, MFMC has contracted to have them sprayed, which was quite

effective in dissolving the algae.

Are you planning to do that this year?

I reported your question to the board tonight and was informed that treatments to all the ponds have started and will be done per our contract.  The  requirements have been changed per New Castle County and the board has contracted to be able to met the requirements.
