I saw the clothing & shoe donation drop box at the corner of Mansion Farm Dr & RC Peoples Blvd - who approved/requested this? How long will the drop box remain there?
I'm concerned it may begin to look like other drop boxes where the items are piled outside of it. The sentiment is understandable, I just don't think it's necessary to be located inside the development. I saw a similar drop box at the church just down the road from our development. |

I just came by there about an hour ago and it's already gone. Although I did see it when I came home from work an had the same concerns. |

I checked on the website and phone number listed on the box. The website was non-existent and the phone number was an unlisted cell phone from Wilmington. I called the number and also texted a message regarding immediate removal of the unauthorized box. This is likely a scammer that places these boxes and people donate thinking they are giving to a charity when in fact the donations are then sold for a profit.
The box was removed prior to 5pm on 10/19/16.
