HELLO ALL!!

I am NOT one to "rattle" any cages but when one of my loved ones almost gets into an accident not ONCE, NOT TWICE, BUT THREE TIMES...I do take notice!! Wouldn't YOU?!?! I do hope so!

What is the "HO Assn. Policy" for snow removel and/or plowing (If it is a minimum of 4 inches; are you aware that more accidents HAPPEN during less of a snowfall than more?!?? How do you feel when someone that YOU LOVE almost "bites the dust" or possibly could have had a LIFE ENDING injury) at the intersection of Mansion Farm Road, turning right (driving 10 MPH!) onto Robert C. Peoples Blvd.; stopping at the intersection (4 way stop; Honora Road., I believe?!) and sliding right through (yes, anti lock brakes were in the vehicle and used properly!) through the intersection, and then leaving this "community", and then did a 180 degree onto Howell School Road (Thankfully, another driver saw what was happening and THE VEHICLES DID NOT HIT!! But my loved one was shaken up!!) because NO ROAD in THIS NEIGHBORHOOD was/were even brined, plowed, or treated in any manner?!? What will the Association do should lawsuits mount up?!? Please kindly respond.

In addition, the 4 way traffic signal at Mansion Farm Road and Dynasty Drive is CONSTANTLY RUN ; many times AT FULL SPEED! Does not a STOP sign me....STOP? Not a "Californica Roll" as many call it, but a complete STOP. What would happen again should there be an accident or worse, should a child or an adult be hit or possibly even killed? There are MANY drivers THAT CONSTANTLY SPEED through our community. Where are the speed traps or Officers? Shall this go to the County?

As an 8 year resident in GREAT standing of this community, there are no improvements, and it just takes ONE person to "SPEAK UP!" Well, that is what I am doing. Does anyone blame me? I sincerely hope NOT! Have a Good Evening and a safe one at that!

Thank You.

If your "loved one" is that bad of a "driver," may I suggest he or she do us all a "favor" and stay off of the "road."

I appreciate your concern about the roads.   Unfortunately there are only a few dollars in the budget every year for all the needs in the community.

The Board decided not to plow until 2 inches  (which is our expense) for Mansion Farm Drive - RC People Blvd is split between the developments; and if it gets greater than 4 inches then the plowing will be the entire development.

This is a discussion every year with the Board.

Please become a board member to assist in all these decisions.

Dealing with the snow, ice, freezing rain effecting the community road conditions has been a great challenge. This is another good example of our need to increase the dues! The added funds would certainly help improve our ability to hire needed services.
