The fencing around the large Megan pond & the small Megan pond are rotted & falling down. it does look terrible. That wood fencing is not meant to last forever. Maybe we can bring up a vote again to change the fencing here. There is a large tree limb that came down from the woods on brittany. Who is responsible for getting rid of this? It is pretty large. |

I agree with the fencing. My fencing will need to be replaced within the next year or so and I really like the vinal/composite split rails. They will never rot and look really nice. You can even match your trim or siding. Getting 2/3 of the community to vote is almost impossible. It is a losing situation. Why can't it be added to the mailer and make people vote that way? If you don't respond your vote doesn't count. The responses should be 2/3 counted. The wood is outdated, unattractive, rots and attracts carpenter bees. As long as we keep the split rail look, it should be optional. |

Unfortunately, we didn't create the deed restrictions. They were created by the builder and must be upheld by the MFMC. There is no way to change the 2/3 votes unless we put it to a vote.
We will be sending out a newsletter and fencing is one of the items that we will be voting on. We are also looking at other ways to vote and communicate with the residents. |
