Does anyone have trouble with birds getting into your dryer vents to build nests? Better yet, DID anyone have trouble with that, but found a way to solve it?
We have been having that trouble and have tried multiple barriers to keep them out, but all have had their flaws. One kind definitely keeps them out, but causes lint to build up in itself. We've tried venetian-blind-type vent, and they've now figured out how to get in there.
The vent itself is too high up to be conveniently accessed to keep going up there to either be cleaned out or to try something else to block them. Most ladders I've seen are either just too short or way too long to reach up there safely.
So I could really use some ideas, especially if any have worked for you!
