As many of you are aware, Orchards Community Park is located within the Maple Tree Neighborhood Association boundaries. But how many of you know that the Covington Neighborhood Park is also located within the Maple Tree Neighborhood Association Boundaries?

The Covington Neighborhood Park is located between 70th and 71st Street and between I-205 and 92nd Avenue. Currently this park is nothing more than an empty field. At the March Neighborhood Meeting Lisa Hix, from the Parks and Recreation Services will be in attendance to discuss the Covington Park site.

What are the current plans for this park site? How would you like to see this park developed? Do you want a ball field, playground equipment, trails, etc.?

Please come to the March 14, 2000 Maple Tree Neighborhood Association and express your ideas for the Covington Neighborhood Park.
