Neighborhood Crime Report
The Clark County Sheriffs office maintains a web site with a wealth of information on crime statistics. These statistics are also broken down by individual neighbor-hoods. Examination of this data, for the first six months of 1999, yields some interesting information. The most common crimes experienced in our neighborhood were theft, assault, vehicle prowls, malicious mischief, burglary, forgery, and domestic violence. Information on the most wanted and other crime information can be found on Clark County?’s Sheriff web site at: htpp//www.co.clark.wa.us/SHERIFF/INTER/
Pat Vickas, from the Clark County Sheriffs office presented neighborhood crime information for year 1999. This information included maps that displayed the location of sex offenders, incidents, and other crimes. Copies of these maps will be available at the March Neighborhood Meeting. Auto prowls is an increasing problem in all of Clark County. Neighbors were encouraged to prevent crimes of opportunity.
