First Quarterly Meeting of the Mar Vista Community Council

About 200 people came to the first Quarterly Meeting of the Mar Vista Community Council (MVCC) on July 8, 2003. Councilwoman Cindy Miscikowski gave a brief address. A number of City Departments had set up displays with informative pamphlets about departmental resources and had representatives available to answer questions and interact with stakeholders.

Considerable interest was evinced in the activities of the MVCC Urban Planning Committee headed by MVCC Director Maritza Przekop.
