What is a Neighborhood Council?

In a nutshell . . . .

In accordance with the new City Charter, the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE) is supporting community efforts to form neighborhood councils. Neighborhood Councils are self-governed, self-directed and independent entities that will provide input to City officials on neighborhood and Citywide issues.
