Need a New Roof

I would appreciate any information you care to give about your experience in getting a new roof. I have contacted my neighbor, Prime Roofing, for an estimate, but since I have no experience dealing with roofing contractors, any help would be appreciated. I feel I can trust Prime Roofing because the owner is my neighbor and the company has a good record with the Better Business Bureau. However, that is not much on which to base a large expenditure and I do want to get the best for my dollar. Thanks for your help!
