Marlborough Neighbors,
It is that time again - nominations are due for the 2nd Annual Spirit of Mesa Awards. They are due in the Neighborhood Office no later than Aug. 1, 2002. Last year you remember, Marlborough Mesa won in the ?“connectivity?” category of Neighborhood Excellence. We won a cash award of $300 to be spent on our neighborhood. Accepting that award was Kevin Biesty and Nancy Borg. There are several categories and you can nominate a neighbor for any of the following reasons:
?• Neighborhood Safety
?• Neighborhood Events, projects or activities
?• Neighborhood Planning/Visioning
?• Creative Problem Solving
?• Improving Neighborhood Quality of Life
?• Outstanding Leadership by an individual or group in neighborhood preservation
?• Community Activism
?• Long-term, continuous, commitment to your neighborhood
?• Crime Prevention
?• Improvement Project
?• Traffic Safety
Don?’t let Marlborough go unnoticed this year, for we have MANY volunteers that you know personally who fit into one of these categories. Submit a name (or several) and the category to:
