We will be having an honored visitor in Marlborough on September 28th from 9-11 AM. It is the Democratic Candidate for the gubernatorial race ?– the present Attorney General, Janet Napolitano. She and Vice Mayor, Dennis Kavanaugh have chosen Marlborough Mesa as one of the East Valley neighborhoods she would like to visit.
Dennis told Ms Napolitano that our neighborhood would be an especially good stop, because he felt we would all extend a kind welcome to her no matter our political preference.
Vice Mayor Kavanaugh has asked us ?– and in turn, we are asking you: Which would be a preferable place for her to meet you ?– the residents of our neighborhood and would you like to be there?
1. Corners of intersections within our development (2 or 3)?
2. Our Park?
3. Any other suggestions?
Vice Mayor Kavanaugh will call back to find out our wishes in 2-3 days so we need your input.
I sent out the neighborhood email and so far folks are in favor of the park as number 1 choice.
