This was a message from Teresa Brice-Heames who is running for Mayor as an Independent. She was at our Toy Drive and took the remaining food to the guys at the E.V. Men's Center. Her message:
''Please let the Marlborough neighborhood know that your holiday leftovers went to good use. I delivered the sub and the rest of the cake to the East Valley Men?’s Center Saturday afternoon. I was greeted by about a dozen guys, who were watching TV outside in the back. They enthusiastically received the food (and I suspect it was gone by dinnertime!). They asked for your card so they could thank you, but I did not want to lose the only one I had, so I said I would pass along their appreciation.
''I had a great time meeting people in your neighborhood. I will see you at the neighborhood conference, if not before!''
