Alma:
Please forward this out to your neighbors in Marlborough Mesa.
Thank you.
Debbie
Hello to all of you in Marlborough Mesa. I can't seem to find words to express my thanks to all of you for your support. I really do appreciate everything you are doing on my behalf. I am in need of some time to try to regain some of my health and to spend time with my family.
I am going to miss you all and all the wonderful things you all do to make your neighborhood one of the best in the nation. If you can find someone amongst you who can write your story and share how to do what you do, with others, you could really make some money!
You live life in your neighborhood the way neighbors should. I would encourage all of you to keep that going. I know that a handful of people can easily become weary from carrying the bulk of the work, but many hands make the load lighter. If you have been enjoying all the wonderful things that occur in your neighborhood or if you have not yet volunteered to help, please consider doing so at this time as others are beginning to feel stretched thin.
I am asking Alma (or whomever handles the MM email) to keep me personally on your neighborhood distribution list, so I can see all the wonderful things you are doing, and even come and visit you at some of your events.
It has been an honor to be of service to you and it has been a pleasure to partner with you and watch you do such awesome things to make your daily lives and neighbor relations the best in the Nation! I am not joking about that. I cannot express to you how important it is that your neighborhood stay on track and continue to grow in relationships. I will be pleased to assist you however I can from home.
I consider so many of you friends and you have always taken me and my family into your fold and for that I am so very grateful! Stan and Mary have already asked me if they can still come to your events and help out and/or just to see you. Mary recalls trick or treating in your neighborhood and Stan smiled as he shared his memories of swimming in your canal (at dry up time), and playing football in the park with your children.
How can I possibly thank you for what you have done for me and more simply for who you are as people that understand what it means to be true neighbors. You live it everyday and that is what makes your neighborhood the absolute best.
With sincere thanks and appreciation for all you have done for me.
