Marlborough Mesa

Early Thursday morning, 8/9/07, at approx. 4:00 am, we were contacted by Mesa Police officers who were informing us that our vehicle had been damaged by a BB or pellet gun. The vehicle was parked on the street and the driver's side window had been shot. The officers informed us that three other vehicles on our street had also be damaged in a similar fashion. This incident occurred in the 800-900 blocks of west Obispo Ave. A police report was completed.

Thanks to the passer-by who noticed the damage and contacted the Police Department.

So many patrol cars ...

Perhaps this accounts for the many patrol cars in the area. Although, I am not certain of the date but that sounds like it is the day or close to it when someone reported that there were police cars on Mollera and Plata and that Alma School was blocked off in the early morning hours around 5-6 am.

I tried calling the police ''after the fact'' but to no avail.

Anyone else know any more?
