As the Marlborough Mesa Specialist- I want to Thank all the folks who have allowed me to either help move them into this neighborhood or assist in getting their home SOLD for top Dollar.
As a token of my appreciation- My wife and I (Maria) would love to start a gardening club and use a large portion of our Huge yard for a community garden,
We would love to get feedback( we already have a garden area formed but thought it would be great to meet fellow "green-thumbers"
Any ideas or comments???

Fresh Veggies -- YUMMY!
Cecil,
I've read your article before and I think it is a great idea. When we all start to THINK SPRING, I believe you will get more responses to this idea. It is a GOOD one. Community Gardening is a very big thing, with the idea spreading the country pretty rapidly.
Come "harvest time" when people who have helped in the planting and nurturing of the community garden, the benefits pay big! In the meantime, the fellowship of working together cannot be measured.
I am just sitting here thinking just how nice it would be to go over to your home and "pick" a fresh ripe TOMATO (my favorite), or a cucumber for a great-tasting salad -- you can't get much fresher than that -- and it's close!
You can count Jim and myself in for certain.

Neighborhood Gardening
Hi Cecil:
If you get some interest from your neighbors to create this garden, I have a few resources that might prove educational for starting a garden.
Give me a call at 644-4068. (Remember me, I work for the Neighborhood Office at the City of Mesa).
