what happened to the message I placed on here last night? Does somebody pick and choose what goes on and what doesn't? What happened to freedom of speech? Do you own this website? If that's how it works, I'd rather not be a part of it anyway.

Computer/Internet glich

Dear Hooper,
I did not look at messages last night. Please place your message again. Sometimes the Internet just doesn't perform the way we would like.

No one individual owns this website (except Neighborhood Link), although there are several who have access to ''behind the scenes''. Those individuals are people volunteering their time for the good of our neighbood.

The only way a message is ever supposed to be removed is if someone fails to sign their name.

I do know that I was unable to read about the car accident on July 3rd. I was told that the web site was not responding. This WEB site has been run very professionally and all postings whether you like it or not are posted, as long as a name is attached. Alma, Thanks for all that you do!

These points are proof that your own site would work so much better, and faster, than neighborhoodlink.com. While it was a good start, it is way too slow and unpredictable to be useful, for me anyhow. And as it grows, it will only get slower.
