Marlborough Mesa

If you have wondered what the construction is on Extension it is Cable America. From what the constrruction manager told me today, they cannot link us to our neighbors to the north on Extension because whatever the technology used for them is no longer available. Cable America is going to upgrade them and we will be part of that!!!

They have no idea of time frame as it is apparently very difficult to install around the freeway.

I will keep you posted.

It looks like this is going to happen!!!

Suzanne and other Marlborough Mesa Residents,

This is indeed true, CableAmerica is working to get your area activated for cable. Here's the catch though. It's still in the early planning stages. This means anything can prevent it, even down to permits from Mesa. Brian (construction manager) and I talked this morning about this after I saw the posting here. This is still a time away, BUT it IS going to happen! We are going to connect you and Rancho Del Mar to the same "node" which contains the fiber necessary for digital tv, internet, etc. Work is still about 3 months away from completion there and then they will pursue your project with the corporate office. So this is in fact wonderful news for BOTH sides of Extension.
