Friday's results of our radar:
Most drivers are traveling over 30 miles per hour. Our high was 56 miles per hour. The medium was 35 miles per hour. We have numerous children living on our street, and it is only a matter of time before a child, adult or animal is hit and terribly injured. SLOW DOWN! Most of the cars do travel to the other side of Extension, but it was noted that a number turned south on Spruce.
PORTOBELLO AVENUE: A MEETING WILL BE HELD WITHIN 2 WEEKS REGARDING THIS ISSUE. THE SPEEDING ON OUR ROAD WILL NO LONGER BE TOLERATED!!!!!
The radar gun will be used at various areas along Portobello this weekend. The whole street is very concerned about this issue. You will notice it in the 900 thru 1100 block.
