As a homeowner and Realtor in our Neighborhood, I am concerned with the recent series of incidents regarding some sort of crime activity. I took the call to action from Alma Jones and Debbie Ballard and proceeded to call our local police department to voice my concern.
I was most impressed on how responsive they were and willing to help all of us-
For extra patrol you can call dispatch at (480)644-2211, explain the situation to them and ask to have extra patrol in the area. They will then fill out a
form and the info will be sent through the computers in the patrol cars as
well as to the district substation. LOTS of us need to begin calling in.
Each call will only give us stepped up patrol for two weeks but we can voice our concern and have a strong presence of police in our great neighborhood.
By the way, my listing at 2939 S. Spruce has been also vandalized a couple of times along with damage to my sign post. If anyone has seen any criminal activity to this property- please advice the police or myself.
Let's all call and get our neighborhood back and send out a strong message to those vandals and car thieves- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
