Posada and Spruce joined forces to hold another Block-wide garage sale coupled with an evening GAIN party.
Both were a complete success and no one let the rain bother them.
Attending the Gain Party, were Mesa Chief of Police, Jan Strauss, Debbi Driscoll (Neighborhood Coordinator for City of Mesa), Councilmen Whalen and Kavanaugh, 2 officers from Mesa Animal Control Unit, 2 other Mesa Police officers, and 2 Mesa Police Bike Officers, as well as Mc Gruff - who ''takea a bit out of crime'' .. the kids loved him !! There were 3 police units that allowed the kids to climb aboard - and that's just what they did - it was a good place to keep them out of the rain :)
Everyone had a great time at the party, which was held in the garage of Jim and Alma Jones (thanks you two.. once again.. for your hospitalitiy).
There was lots of great food and drink, and many pictures were taken by Marty Klopper. They will be posted on the website under ''photos of you'' soon.
