why not
Well, when I first moved here, I offered a ''real'' site to Alma, since I handle server space and sites for sale and get a nice deal. The reasoning was, and is, that the current ''neighborhoodlink'' site can go away on a moments notice. This happens everyday out there.
Now, this message board I put together may not even go over big. Considering the amount of posts here on this board, I do not expect much happening on mmesa.net. The nice thing about it is, I will just make it my own personal site rather than a neighborhood site. No big deal.
My wife and kids already use the ''mmesa.net'' email addresses, which the site offers 100 of. The message board plus a live chat section is also a nice perk, to me.
Its the peoples call, not mine. I will give the mmesa.net site some time to pass or fail, then I will make a decision on life or death to it. Since I pay for it, I like that decision making power. There has been no push to move over to the new site, so I feel part of that decision was made already.
Again, no big deal. Use it or not.
