Marlborough Mesa

We have been watching our painted fences of 2000 for over a year now. Some areas are getting in poor shape - especially those where water is coming thru from neighbors' yards. The water is deteriorating them and we as a neighborhood are going to have to look into painting them once again.

Please check the outside of your fence to see if a section where paint is peeling away might be coming from water on the inside of your fence.

Next, does anyone have ideas on WHEN to paint these ... WHAT COLOR to paint them ... and WHO might have some time to pull this together.

Does anyone know a painter? Do we want to do this ourselves again or pay for someone else to do it?

This is a problem we all must face so let's get this discussion going so everyone will have the opportunity to give suggestions. We need all your help.

PAINTING IN MESA DOSE A NICE JOB. FORE COLOR MAYBE A SAGE GREEN OR A
BURGENDY LIKE WHATS ON THE NEW WALGRENS.

Paint ourselves

I like the idea of painting the wall ourselves. It is a great opportunity for the less outgoing members of MM to meet one another. If we do hire out, there was a painter who had put a sign at the Pecos entrance. I did not use him (ended up painting myself) but I still have his number.
