On New Year's Eve just before midnight
the police were called out to respond to a fight on Peralta. One person had a gun and shots were fired. No one was hurt. The City was not able to release any additional information at this time. |

I received more information about the gunshots fired on New Year's Eve. Some type of argument ensued on Pampa (minutes before midnight) and Police were called. This was an assult with a deadly weapon case and I understand that mace had to be used. I don't know if the actual shot(s) were fired on Pampa ... as things progressed to Peralta where 8-10 police cars blocked the street at Extension and Peralta. I do not have the exact addresses for either street but both were between the 800 and 1000 blocks. The case # or event # is: 20043661256 Officer Jenkins (badge #14387) of the Dobson Patrol Unit was the 1st officer on the scene and he is writing up all details. His number is 644-2614. Marlborough Mesa can obtain a full copy of those details and what happened by sending $5.00 and a letter of request or going down in person. I believe this is serious enough that we should find out.
