Monday, 10/2 @ 7 pm - D21 State House Representatives debate sponsored by the Tribune. Held at Chandler City LIbrary in the council chambers. Democrat Phil Hettmansberger, Republicans Warde Nichols and Steve Yarborough will be there (Free)

Wednesday, 10/4 from 5 - 7 pm, Meet the Governor and her policy advisors at La Casita @ Dobson Ranch - 2719 S. Reyes (behind strip mall where Neighbor's Cafe and Jeepers is - NW corner Alma and Guadalupe). The policy adivsors will be there at 5 and the Governor will arrive at 6 pm for a question and answer period (Free)

Thursday - 10/5 (time unknown) - Governor clean election debate at ASU. While all tickets are sold out for the debate, it will air on Ch. 8 (KAET) if you want to watch it.

Tuesday - 10/10 @ 7p - East Valley Ballot Initiative Forum sponsored by Mesa ACORN at the Mesa Utility Building, 640 N. Mesa Drive, in the community room (between University and Main and 6th and 8th streets) (Free)

Sunday - 10/15 from 1-3pm - GEMDEMS Picnic at Riverview park ($10/person)

Wednesday - 10/18 from 5-8:30 pm @ Dobson Ranch Library - Candidate night sponsored by Democrats of District 21. Candidates: State House Rep. Phil Hettmansberger and U.S. House Rep. Harry Mitchell will be there and we are hoping for more candidates to come.

Thursday - 10/26 @ 7pm - MM Park (Peralta and Wycliff) Meet the Candidates: State Treasurer Rano Singh and Phil Hettmansberger, and possibly others. Refreshments to be provided
