Hello, Everyone,
My name is Grendel and I need a home. I am a little foundling doggy. You can email my person and she will send a picture of me to you. I probably have quite a bit of shar pei in me, but I?’ll never really know since I had a bit of a rough start in my little life.
My mom left me all alone in the desert on a hill in some rocks. Something must have happened to her and she couldn?’t come back to get me. I was only about two days old and I couldn?’t see or crawl, so I just cried, sometimes loudly when I gathered up enough strength. I?’m surprised the hawks or owls (the worst!) didn?’t hear or see me and have me for dinner (as a meal, not an invite). I was cold, hungry, and lonely, especially at night. Luckily, some people found me and have fed me for over four weeks with a bottle every four hours until I was old enough to eat on my own. I?’m still not too good at it, but getting better every day.
I like to play now, wag my tail, and chew on my toys (I finally have some teeth!). My foster parents will send me off with food, disposable floor pads, plastic tub, Cracker Barrel weasel toy, puppy food, puppy shots, and a certificate for neutering when it is time (6 months?—YUK). Do you know someone that is a sucker for a cute face like mine? PLEASE let me know. I need a home and would make a WONDERFUL late Christmas present. I just need someone to love me and I?’ll try to be the best dog you have ever had.
Love,
Grendel
