What happened tonight reminded me about what happened on Emerson on Thursday the 27th of September around 10 PM.
I heard a noise out front and as I walked outside I saw two high school age guys (dark clothes) walking South on Emerson. They had knocked over our empty trash container (which we had not pulled in yet).
There had been some event at the high school so I assumed they were coming from that. I yelled at them to come back and pick it up and they kept walking away from me.
As they continued down the street I watched them pick up small rocks and throw them in the direction of whichever house they were in front of at the time.
I ran back into the house and got my keys. By this time they were at the end of Emerson (at Portobello). I drove in that direction to see if I could find out where they lived - to complain about their actions to their parents/guardians. When I got to Emerson/Guadalupe it was easy to see which way they had gone - I followed the trail of knocked over garbage bins (two more).
As I drove West on Portobello, I spotted them walking South on Spruce (in the direction of Jim/Alma's). I went straight, drove by the park, and circled back but they had already gone inside a home. Most likely these were close friends or brothers that live right in that area.
They didn't do anything THAT bad, but it would be nice if the teens that live here actually showed respect for their neighbors.
