Marlborough Mesa

Hey everyone, with the Clean/Green Sweep Program planned for October 24-27 on Posada, I would like to plan a Block Garage Sale on the weekend before Oct 21 or 22.

This will be a great time to clean out the attic, closets, cabinets, garages and make a little extra money for the holidays or anything else (don't we all need extra moolah?)

We can also use this as one of our Block Watch events, since we do need another one for this year !!

The weather should be great, and we could even have another one of our great Posada Block Parties afterwards.

Please email if you are interesting, and which day(s); Saturday, Sunday or both you would be interesting in having this.
Also, let me know if you are interested in the block party afterwards, and any ideas/suggestions you might have.

If we are lucky, this could be a ''welcome home'' for Kelly and his family - as the fire damage is looking better all the time. Let me know, OK?

If there are others of you that want to do a garage sale one on your block the same weekend, then we can join forces and have a great time and an ever better pary afterward.

Our block garage sales have always been a success, so lets all get into another one and have fun and make money !!

Yes to Yard Sale

We would like to participate in the sale. I would vote for just the Saturday. I love the idea of a get together that night and especially if our neighbors return! Thanks Renee

The Posada/Spruce Garage Sale has been designated to be Saturday, October 21st, starting at 7:30 am. I want to thank all of you for all the input !!!

This can be a NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE instead of just a Posada/Spruce Garage Sale, if other blocks want to get involved - the more the merrier !! If your block decides to do this with us, please email me, because if we can everyone's participation, we will advertise it in the newspaper - imagine the turnout !!

The GAIN *** Party for Posada/Spruce will be held that evening as our Block Party, and will qualify as our BLOCK WATCH EVENT (which we need to keep our signs). The location for that will be at the intersection of Spruce and Posada. The street will be blocked off - bring your chairs and table. An e-mail will be sent with more information on this later.

If the other individual streets would like thier block parties on the same night, this would be great.. Marlborough Mesa would ROCK !!

***GAIN = Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods. This is a statewide effort which we participated in last year, as well. This is Arizona's equivalent of the US ''National Night Out'' evening.

Let us ALL get involved, make ourselves some money, clean out our garages, and then P*A*R*T*Y hearty !!!
